Summer Olympics began in 1896 at Athens of Greece. Winter Olympics began in 1924 at Chamonix-Mont-Blanc of France. The host country from 2000 onward is Sydney in 2000, Athens in 2004, Peking in 2008, London in 2012, Rio de Janeiro in 2016 at the Summer Olympics. Winter Olympics is Salt Lake City in 2002, Torino in 2006, Vancouver in 2010, Sochi in 2014, Pyeong Chang in 2018. This year is summer Olympics year. Let’s all cheer!
